Alexander Mcqueen

Hi friends!

I know I've been a little absent but I'll do my best to keep this thing pretty :D

I have this awful homework that I can't seem to understand. I'm so overwhelmed and I have to stand in front of my class and talk about it... How the mass media influence affects the election of a president... ehm... boring. I hate politics .yawn :) Haha. Oh! speaking of politics a woman was elected for the first time in my country. yays for women! Her name is Laura Chinchilla

My weekend started a little sad. I was sitting reading the usual fashion blogs and then I read the terrible news about Alexander Mcqueen's death...

"British fashion designer Alexander McQueen was discovered dead today after taking his own life.
The industry was left reeling after the 40-year-old's suicide this morning, which comes just days after the death of his beloved mother, Joyce."

Oh what a terrible loss for the fashion world, I can't even describe how upset I am :( He was an amazing innovative and always inspiring artist. His collections were filled with extravagant creativity and a hint of obscurity.

He "was" but will remain one of my top 3 designers.

After reading that I went to class and then sushi with the boy.

My nail stamping kit came in the mail some days ago, it's so cool :D I need to take pictures of my nails for you guys. 

Well I'm off to write a short valentines email, because that's as far as I'll go, somebunny doesn't care about that holiday :(
